Caleb Boggs is a provisional licensed professional counselor with a special love for working with children.

Caleb uses the therapeutic powers of play to help kids and their families address a wide variety of issues like anger, grief and loss, divorce and abandonment, anxiety, depression, and defiance.

Additionally, Caleb has experience counseling teens, college students, and adults from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approach. Caleb is eager to welcome clients wherever they are in life!

Caleb graduated from John Brown University with a master’s degree in Counseling and an emphasis in play therapy. He has 5+ years of experience working with kids, teens, and families in youth ministry.

Gaby is pursuing her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling through Colorado Christian University’s online program, as she begins her internship at Mt. Hope. Gaby graduated from Ozark Christian College and has loved serving in her church community as a youth leader for the last 5 years. Gaby’s heart for counseling is centered in a trusted relationship, as she believes everyone has a story that deserves to be told, heard, and explored so that they may be fully known. She is honored to walk along side her clients as they gain strength in self awareness. Gaby is passionate about meeting the client where they are at with the struggles and challenges they bring into the room. These could include relational and interpersonal dynamics, life circumstances/change, grief and trauma, sexuality and identity, spirituality/faith, depression and anxiety. **Gaby sees, individuals: teens ages 16+, college age and adults. Johnna Burton is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She is passionate about working collaboratively with kids and families to build practical strategies to enhance quality of life. She has worked in home, community and school settings for 16 years, partnering with children, schools and caregivers to work towards meaningful goals using applied behavior analysis (ABA). Johnna supports children and families in the reduction of challenging behavior by teaching new skills. She addresses gaps in skills involving functional communication, home or school routines, completing transitions, receiving feedback, expressing emotions, making mistakes, tolerating change, self-advocacy, coping skills and more. Johnna works closely with caregivers to match strategies to the household and needs of all involved. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) receives a significant amount of press for serving individuals on the autism spectrum; however, the principles of ABA can work wonders wherever there is observable, challenging behaviors that need positive shaping to create win-win scenarios. Micah Clark is a PLPC and a grief recovery specialist. Micah earned his bachelor’s in psychology and counseling from Ozark Christian College and his master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University. He specializes in grief and infertility issues with ages 18+, making an exception for teens under the age of 18, should issues pertain to grief. Micah gathers his experience from his own battle with grief and infertility, while also being trained in grief care. Micah is also certified in the grief recovery method, helping clients process buried complex emotions dealt by grief incidents. Seth Culp strongly believes that clients come into therapy with many strengths that have been developed to cope with life challenges. From this, he brings a strengths-based approach that acknowledges the skills that have helped clients survive to where they are now and works to help clients explore and expand these qualities through building a safe and secure therapeutic relationship. Seth practices from a trauma-informed lens and uses a systemic approach to therapy that emphasizes empathy and unconditional positive regard. Seth has a history in ministry and leadership development. From his experience as a husband and father, he gained a special interest in fathers, marriage, and families. He offers individual, couple, and family counseling. Forrest is from Webb City, Missouri and completed his master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Pittsburg State University. He is a counselor in training on his way to getting his PLPC in a few months. Forrest works with adults, teens, and children specializing in individual, couples, marriage, family and group counseling. Shira Hearn is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary where she earned her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). Her areas of passion and the focus of her work is in healing families, assisting couples to build solid, lasting and fulfilling marriages and working with adults and teenagers towards healthy lives.

Shira is a native of Jerusalem, Israel, where her father is Rector of Christ Church Jerusalem. She left Israel ten years ago to join her husband in California and moved to Missouri two years ago. Throughout her life Shira has been immersed in the language, history, geography and culture of the Bible and often employs biblical imagery and narrative in her healing work. When not at work, she reads, plays legos with her 4 year old triplets and spends as much time outdoors as possible.

**Jonathan Trotter RN JD**

As an intern with Mt. Hope, Jonathan is excited to offer marriage counseling, pre-marital counseling, and individual counseling to clients thirteen and over. Since 2014, Jonathan has walked alongside hundreds of couples and individuals in dozens of countries. He has experience journeying with people through issues such as grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, abuse (spiritual, sexual, physical, emotional), debriefing, ministry burnout, and addictions.

With couples, Jonathan utilizes an attachment-based, emotion-focused approach. He also greatly appreciates the evidence-based tools and resources from Dr. John Gottman. With all clients, Jonathan takes a person-centered, trauma-informed, experiential approach.

From 2012 to 2020, he and his family served as cross-cultural missionaries in Phnom Penh Cambodia. Prior to that, he worked bi-vocationally as an ER/trauma nurse and youth and worship pastor. He is a licensed attorney in California and is currently completing his master’s in clinical mental health counseling at Colorado Christian University.

Darla has a heart for couples and enjoys coming alongside those who are struggling relationally, to instill hope and help them resolve their conflict. Darla has helped many couples restore trust in their relationship after an affair or betrayal. In addition to working with couples, Darla also works with women who are dealing with emotional difficulties such as depression or anxiety. Darla has experience working with individuals struggling with addictions or life controlling problems. She will work with the client to determine the best treatment for them so they can achieve their goals.
